Processing and Flying Your Fish Home

As part of your fishing package with Wild Strawberry Lodge, LLC, your catch is all taken care of by our staff with custom, on-site processing. Fish will be hauled up to the processing room where they clean, fillet, vacuum pack, flash freeze and box it all according to your specifications. From the moment the boats get to the dock, well into dinner time the processing room will be humming with activity.

Depending on seasons and limits, you end up with one to two 50 pound boxes with a mixture of salmon, halibut, lingcod, and rockfish.  (This may vary and is contingent on your length of stay, number and type of fish caught, and what species are in season.)

Boxes are made of heavy duty wet-locked wax sides and lined with foil bubble liners. Every box is strapped shut and diligently labeled with your name and address. These airline-approved wax fish boxes for shipping will keep fish frozen and safe until it makes it back home to your freezer.
